William Chu

Director of Finance

William Chu is the Director of Finance of Millennium Promise Alliance Inc. He has been with the organization since November 2011.

William has over 20 years of experience as senior financial officer in both non-profit and private sectors. He specializes in financial analysis, reporting, and internal control procedures, while also developing accounting information systems.

William has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College of the City University of New York. He enjoys competitive volleyball, swimming, and hiking in his spare time.

At Millennium Promise Alliance (MPA), we believe that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including the end of poverty, can be achieved by 2030, even in the most challenging and remote parts of the world.

MPA is a non-governmental not-for-profit organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Millennium Promise Alliance Inc. is an organization exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue code of 1986, and whose purpose is to participate in the mobilization of resources and technical expertise for the implementation of sustainable development projects based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to advance living standards of populations in Africa.
