Millennium Promise Japan
We are extremely proud to announce the launch of Millennium Promise Japan.  This remarkable national initiative brings incredible momentum to Japan's support for achieving the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.  The Government of Japan provided crucial early support to the Millennium Villages project in Africa, so we are delighted by this opportunity to celebrate Japan's successes to date, and to mobilize further support for the years ahead.  We are so grateful to Prof. Shinichi Kitaoka and Mrs. Rieko Suzuki Kitaoka for their leadership in spearheading this effort.
