EDUCATION (SDG 4) : RWANDAN GIRLS BENEFIT FROM THE CONNECT TO LEARN PROJET

A group of young Rwandan girls engaged in MP’s Connect to Learn (CTL) projet have set up their own cooperative which they called: Visions Connect To Learn Cooperative.

The girls have nominated two leaders of the cooperative: Vestine and Solange to attend a Provincial Exhibition in Rwanda where they exhibited their products to potential buyers and local leaders.

Further to that, a group known as ‘United Photo Industries’ which is organizing a photo exhibition on the MVPs, has purchased some of the young ladies’ baskets.

United Photo Industries is funded by Blue Chip – Jenn Gross’ Foundation. The institution will be showcasing the beautiful baskets during its exhibitions as they tour high schools around the US.

That exhibition is expected to go a long way in raising awareness on the work of the Visions Connect to Learn Cooperative.

Added to the baskets, the United Photo Industries will also take along with them on their tour, some material about ‘Connect To Learn’ in order to scout for opportunities for the Rwandan girls such as a school-to-school connection program.
